Every summer JMG hosts a free video workshop for children who might
not otherwise be exposed to the magic of making motion pictures. Participants
usually come from low-income communities or have disabilities. Over
the course of many weeks, the attendees produce a short, dramatic video
doing everything from acquiring props and wardrobes to acting, camera
work, sound recording, music design, and editing. The finished
product is exhibited on a large screen where friends and family all
come together to celebrate the achievements of these wonderful children.
